What if we told you that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, is directing traffic at an intersection? Yes, directing traffic -- enforcing road rules and keeping pedestrians and motorists away from any mishaps.
That is the case in Nigeria, where a local police officer is using the King of Pop's slick moves to keep everyone safe on the roads. He conducts his daily duties in the city of Maiduguri.
Maiduguri is the capital of Nigeria's Borno state, which recently has seen militant activity by Daesh-affiliated group Boko Haram.
Talking to BBC news, Umar Abubaker spoke about his life as an entertaining traffic enforcer in the midst of a city gripped by rebel attacks.
Known to many locals as "MJ Traffic," a BBC video shows Umar conducting traffic with Michael Jackson's trademark moves and hand gestures. It's also worth noting that he doesn't even break a sweat while he's at it - in fact he even wears a smile!
"My favourite songs are Billie Jean and Dangerous," Abubaker said.
He also speaks about his commitment to not only direct traffic, but to also make the residents of Maiduguri smile despite the bleak conditions in the country.
"I carry in my heart my people and make them laugh and make them be happy so they are forgetting about the crisis."
He even casually remarks that Boko Haram militants were also impressed by him.

People like Abubaker make the whole world a better place to live in.
