Passports of European and Scandinavian countries have been ranked among the top 10 most powerful passports in the world in 2017 - but what about Gulf countries?
According to Nomad Capitalist - a website on overseas investments - in the Middle East, UAE's passport is once again ranked as the most powerful passport in the region, tied with Venezuela at number 70.
UAE passport holders can travel to 122 countries visa-free according.

An earlier report - by Passport Index - in 2016 also ranked UAE's passport among the world most powerful and among Gulf Cooperation Council countries as well.
The UAE passport ranked at the top of the most powerful in the GCC, 27th in the world and 60th on the individual ranking; mainly boosted from its Schengen visa waiver obtained in 2015.
