Rain hit many parts of Oman on Friday along with a wild sandstorm in Muscat.
The Oman meteorology department has issued an advisory, forecasting thundershowers in parts of the northern governorate.

The civil aviation authority (PACA) has advised people to remain cautious during rain and avoid crossing wadis and low-lying areas, Times of Oman reported.

Fishermen and sea goers have also been advised to follow updates from meteorology department before venturing into sea.
