When a maid in Saudi Arabia was getting married, her Saudi employer not only paid for the bride's expenses and the wedding but also her honeymoon, Saudi Gazette reported.
Social activist Zahra Al-Muabi - one of the attendees - posted clips from the Asian couple's wedding on her Snapchat that took place in Jeddah on Friday.
The woman employer also invited the friends of her housemaid.
Pictures of the emotional bride have gone viral online, with Saudi residents and netizens applauding the Saudi woman for her 'act of humanity'.
This story is also winning praise for showing Saudis in a positive light, as opposed to featuring them harassing expatriates.
"It is not uncommon for Saudi women to celebrate with their maids. Many of us are very warm and welcoming," said one resident.
