Like a scene straight from a Hollywood action movie, a video of a truck dangling off a cliff has gone viral on social media.
The video, which was posted on Facebook by Aldob.net, has since reached 4.1 million views and has been shared across the platform 54,128 times. The clip shows a trailer which crashed through a safety barrier while purportedly driving on elevated zigzag roads.
The scary part, however, is the cab of the truck, which is dangling mid-air as the trailer's weight prevented the cab from falling from an extreme height.

The mishap might have occurred in Saudi Arabia, but the UAE also has its fair share of cliffs and zigzag roads. There are roads of the same nature in Jebel Hafeet and Jebel Jais, which many residents frequent. When driving along zigzag roads, residents are advised to take their time and follow the posted speed limits. One should not be driving too fast or too slow - especially when driving uphill.
On some roads, it's also advised to watch out for wildlife such as goats that might cross the road.
