Heavy rains have lashed Saudi Arabia for several days, causing severe flash floods throughout the kingdom and at least one death in southern Asir province.
Many took to social media to post photos and videos of their cities under rain.

According to Arab News report, authorities said that one person died and 10 others injured. Rescue teams saved more than 280 people.
 
The country's Civil Defense has reported more than 4,500 emergency cases, the report added.

Flood caused inconveniences and disturbed the daily routine of the residents. Many schools were also closed.

Several regions in Saudi Arabia have been affected by regional weather changes. The authorities also issued a number of warnings, asking residents to refrain from driving through roads near valleys. 
 
Saudi Railways Organization (SRO) in a statement stated that a train derailed near the eastern city of Dammam on Friday injuring 18 persons. It also mentioned that heavy rains caused the derailment.
