Olympics presenter Charlie Webster is battling for her life in a Rio hospital, after being diagnosed with an extremely rare strain of malaria.
Charlie is currently in a medically-induced coma as doctors - including UK consultants - work around the clock in hopes of bringing her back to health, reports The Sun.
The 33-year-old former Sky Sports, ESPN and BBC reporter's mother and brother have flown to Rio to be near the ailing Charlie's side.

Charlie's spokesperson confirmed to Digital Spy that tabloid reports about her health are sadly correct, and that there is no further update as of now.
A news conference with additional information is expected to occur on Thursday evening UK time, according to the report.
A friend of hers told the newspaper:
'Charlie is battling for survival at the moment - everyone is distraught. 'But she is so strong and a very fit and healthy person in general so we have to keep positive. 'The doctors have now identified the very rare malaria strain she has contracted so she is receiving the right treatment in Rio.'
As part of her duties for Team UK's official Olympics presenting team, Charlie completed a cycling trek from London to Portugal before flying to northern Brazil to raise money for a cancer charity.

However, Charlie reportedly fell ill after arriving in Rio for the Opening Ceremony two weeks back and eventually checked in to a local hospital.
