Your child's education, old parents' medical expenses, house rent, etc. All of us need to remit money back home from time to time.

However, this exercise becomes tedious and monotonous if you have to keep running to the money exchanges every now and then.
But the time has come when you can remit money with your very own Gmail account. According to CBR online, Google has now added a new feature to its Gmail Android app. This feature will allow users to remit and receive money by means of a card that is linked to the account.
As explained by the Android Authority, all that the users have to do is open up the Gmail app on their Android phones, tablets or any other devices, click on the COMPOSE button (like how it's done for composing an e-mail), the address of the one receiving the money is to be entered and the Dollar ($) icon is to be clicked.
Once the amount has been specified, the user should click on ATTACH and SEND the money.
As easy as sending an e-mail. Isn't it?
But what if you're at the receiving end? You just do it like you check your e-mails.
Open your mail (which has come with an amount attached) and click to CLAIM the money.
ZDNet also mentions that the users can send and receive money without any charges.
