"The future belongs to those who can imagine it, design it, and execute it. It isn't something you await, but rather create."
This inspiring quote by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, perfectly defines just what Dubai's Museum of the Future is all about.
Giving World Government Summit participants a sneak peak into the museum's Fall 2035 Augmentation Upgrades, Khaleej Times' reporter takes a walk forward in time and picks out her favourites in biomechanical miniturised consumer enhancements, which are set to be on the market in as little as 20 years.
The museum, organised by the Dubai Foundation for the Museum of the Future, focuses on the perception of the future of robotics and artificial intelligence. It is due to open to the public on December 2, 2018.
