Dubai's Global Village will remain closed today, January 12, due to the adverse weather conditions, its management has announced. 
"With the continuous rainfall, and to ensure the comfort of all our guests and partners, Global Village will not be opening its gates today and will welcoming guests tomorrow Monday, January 13, for Family Day starting 4pm," the park said on its official Twitter handle.

This is the second day that the family destination has closed its doors due to inclement weather.
Earlier, the park was also closed on Saturday as heavy rains lashed Dubai over the weekend.
"Due to prevailing weather conditions and in the interest of comfort of guests and all partners working on site, Global Village management has decided that the park will remain closed today, Saturday, January 11, 2020," the management said in a Press statement.
