I am 23 years old. Can you please suggest an effective home remedy to get rid of facial hair? Upper lips in particular, since I have never got threading done.
- Name withheld
I am happy to hear that you have never tampered with your facial hair. Mix 1 teaspoon of cooked rice, add 1 teaspoon of warm water and half teaspoon of baking soda. Apply a film all over face and lips, allow it to dry and then apply two or three layers of the mask. Scrub against the hair growth, sift and the tiny facial hair will gradually fall off.
I've been following your advice for years and it has been effective. I am 18 years old and have been struggling with in-grown hair on my legs and arms for over two years. It looks awful when I wear dresses. What can I do to get rid of this problem?
- Name withheld
Your in-grown hair is a result of poor blood circulation. You need to drink 10-12 glasses of water to stay hydrated. Daily dry body brushing before your shower also helps. Follow this with an application of a mask where you mix warm water with baking powder. The hair will come to the surface.
I am a 14-year-old girl and have slightly dark underarms. Is there any way to lighten them? Also, I have pimples and need a cure for that as well.
- Eliza
Prepare a mask of tomato puree, cornflour and half a teaspoon of lemon juice. Applying this every day or even twice a day will lighten your underarms and take care of the pimples. Keep this mask on for 30 minutes at the very least and rinse with cold water.
I am 12 years old and have recently been having pimples around my nose. Also, my upper lip has too much hair. Please suggest a homemade remedy.
- Manail
Drink at least 10 to 12 glasses of water every day. Avoid hot, spicy and oily foods. When you take a bath, make sure the temperature of the water is mild. Make a mask by mixing oats and rice powder in equal proportion to tomato juice and applying it daily on your nose and the pimple-affected areas. Rinse off after 30 minutes with cold water. At night, apply two drops of tea tree oil on the pimples. For the hair on the upper lip, take rice water starch, add a little corn flour to it and apply on your upper lips. Scrub against the hair growth once it dries. Do this every alternate day.
How can I get rid of uneven tone around my mouth area? I have tried two or three home remedies, such as lemon, honey or avocado, but nothing seems to work.
- Shamiya
Massage ripe papaya pulp every day on the face and upper lip. Leave on for an hour daily for best results. Splash and rinse with cold water. Also, improve your diet and add loads of leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits to it.
