This year at the auditions, the show gave thousands of home chefs an opportunity to showcase their culinary skills. After a few rounds of tasting and auditions, the judges finally chose 30 participants, who would make it to round 2 of tasting. Chef Akshay Nayyar gave the 30 home chefs a list of ingredients with which they would have to make a dish. This dish would be the final decider for the participants entering the competition. Celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor addressed the participants, sharing tips on cooking and motivating them for the big contest. At the end of the second episode, 12 best home chefs were selected, who would compete in the sixth season of the show. Episode 3 is all about three home chefs from the selected 12 in the first elimination round of the show. The theme was Mother's Day and the participants were asked to recreate dishes that have been passed on to them by their mothers. At the end of this episode, two home chefs would make it to the quarter finals of Foodshala. Catch the action tomorrow on Zee TV at 7.30 pm!
