Health and safety measures are in place at the Circuit, including an online-only booking process
The phased reopening of Yas Marina Circuit has begun with a number of activities, including Karting, OpenYAS track days, and some health and fitness activities available to take part in, all in line with Government directives.
Health and safety measures are in place at the Circuit, including an online-only booking process, a press release said.
A number of measures have been implemented in accordance with Government directives to ensure the health and well-being of everybody in attendance at the venue. These include a completely contactless journey with online-only bookings for all activities, temperature check and hand sanitiser stations, signage and floor markings to offer guidance on social distancing rules, disposable gloves and balaclavas, plus customer flow-paths to ensure guests do not cross paths during the activity journey.
From Monday, Yas Kartzone will be open to adults (aged 13 and above), who must either bring their own equipment - helmets, race suits, balaclavas and gloves - or purchase them on site.
The kart itself can be hired from the venue. Drivers will not be permitted to share helmets, suits, boots, gloves or karts.
With a 1km track which is filled with twists and turns, Yas Kartzone is the perfect spot to let loose and challenge yourself to be first to cross the finishing line. A great way to get back outside and have some fun this summer.
OpenYAS car track days are also now available, giving guests the opportunity to navigate the very same Circuit which has played host to some of the legends of motorsport, including the likes of Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel.
TrainYAS, which is cycling-only at present, is currently taking place on a Sunday and Tuesday.
