Dr Ali Abdul Gadir Al Abidy, urology specialist, said, "The patient had difficulty in urination for a long time and the stone was detected by ultrasound screening."

He said Alamgir's condition was stable after the 90-minute surgery.

He pointed out that since the stone could not be crushed by the sound energy technique, surgery had to be carried out.
