Abu Dhabi's Yas Mall has reopened after it was evacuated on Tuesday, the first day of Eid Al Fitr.
Abu Dhabi Media office confirmed in a tweet that the mall was temporarily evacuated keeping the safety of their visitors and employees in mind.
An alarm went off in Yas Mall triggering the temporary evacuation of the premises. After safety measures, the mall has now been reopened.
Tweets by shoppers in the past couple of hours confirmed that the mall was evacuated on Tuesday morning and police had cordoned off the area around it.
Multiple tweets followed on the platform from UAE residents who were stuck during evacuation.
Another Twitter user warned shoppers to avoid going to the mall as it might be closed at least till afternoon.
