The Indian Consulate on Tuesday announced the contact details of the new service provider for Indian passport and visa services in the UAE.
On March 16, the Indian diplomatic missions in the UAE announced that the management of the Indian Passport and Visa Service Centres (IPAVSCs), which was under Empost since 2009, would now go to a new agency which will offer the service at 25 per cent reduced rates.
BSL International, which will handle the collection and dispatch services of Indian passport and visa applications from April 6, will have a call centre to answer all queries related to their service with the number 04-3594000, the consulate said in a Press statement on Tuesday.
“BLS International will also launch a website www.blsindiavisa-uae, containing detailed information on the Indian passport and visa services from April 6 onwards,” the statement said.
It noted that the passport and visa service centres currently located on the premises of Indian associations and social centres in different emirates would continue to remain functional at the existing locations.
Other BLS centres, which will replace the IPAVSCs housed at the places previously arranged by Empost, will be located at the following locations from April 6. In Abu Dhabi, the centre will be housed at M-1, plot No.159, Shark Lot (19/2) furniture, near Main Bus Depot, opposite Aramex office, Muroor Road.
