DHA to set up medical test centre at DIFC

DUBAI — The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) yesterday announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) to open a state-of-the-art medical testing facility within its premises for processing immigration formalities for employees in its district.

Based at The Gate building, the medical centre will enable convenient medical check-ups for speedy processing of visas and medical cards.

The medical centre is located at the DIFC District and is open daily from 8am to 4pm.

RTA accord for marine cooperation

THE Marine Agency at Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) yesterday signed an MoU with Jordan Academy for Maritime Studies (JAMS) for boosting mutual cooperation in all fields related to the business of Marine Agency covering marine mass transit, security and safety, training and qualifying operations.

The MoU was signed on behalf of the RTA by Mohammed Obaid Al Mulla, CEO of RTA Marine Agency and on behalf of JAMS by Dr. Engineer Mustafa Massad, Director of JAMS.

Indian is lucky winner of DDF raffle

THE lucky winner of Dubai Duty Free’s luxury car draw of a Porsche 911 Carrerra Coupe was Nitin Kanjani, a Dubai-based Indian national.
