Dubai Air Wing Police carries out 81 missions

Of them, 33 were air scout missions, 19 missions were for airlifting injured people, one mission for airlifting a patient, and 4 land search missions, according to Colonel (Pilot) Anas Abdulrahman Al Matroushi, Director of the Air Wing Section with the General Department of Operations at Dubai Police.

Col. Al Matroushi spotlighted that the air wing patrols, during the daily duties, cover wide areas — either on land or at seas — all over Dubai. Different missions are being entrusted to the Air Wing Section, such as Security and Scout missions, Urgent Rescue missions, and controlling the movement of beaches and roads, in addition to informing the Control Room for any necessary notices.
