E-vote to select UAE landmarks among seven natural wonders

ABU DHABI — The General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police has created an electronic link on the website of Department of Community Police to 
facilitate all police personnel to vote for the island of Bu Tinah and Liwa 
Crescent among the new seven natural wonders in the world.

This step comes within the guidance of the police leadership to develop 
partnerships among government, private sector and individuals to preserve the natural heritage and terrain, besides observance of traditions and historical heritage.

He added that the establishment of the e-link comes in support of the national, Gulf and International campaign launched by the Environment Agency on the island of Butinah and the Hilal Liwa under the theme: ‘Open your eyes and vote for the island of Bu Tinah to be one of the Seven Wonders of Nature in the world’. —
