Eid Al Adha will, therefore, be observed on August 12 if the moon is sighted on Friday, August 2.

The holiday of Eid Al Adha in UAE will begin on the 9th of the Zul Hijjah and last until the 12th.

Pakistan's Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain had launched the country's official moon-sighting website and lunar calendar.
He said that as per lunar calendar, Eid Al Adha would be celebrated on on August 12 this year.
