Eight people were killed and one person injured after a fire broke out at a house in Barka, Oman, according to a Times of Oman report.
"At 4:35 am firefighters dealt with a fire that broke out in a house in Al Salam neighborhood in Barka. The accident resulted in one injury and 8 deaths,"  a statement from the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) was quoted as saying in the report.
