Abu Dhabi – The Emirates Identity Authority, Eida, has announced today that its headquarters has shifted from its current location in the Mazyad Mall building in Mohamed bin Zayed City to its permanent premises in Khalifa City. All the staff of the Emirates ID will work from the new headquarters with effect from Sunday, February 1.

Emirates ID has called upon all its strategic partners and stakeholders to visit the new headquarters, or call up the main number, 02 4955555, or get in touch via any of the authority’s 14 communication channels.

Mosabbah Al Mesmari, Executive Director of Corporate Services and Support at Emirates ID, has stressed that all the necessary logistical and technical preparations are complete at the new headquarters as directed by the Governing Board headed by Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Committee and Honorary President of the UAE Football Association (UAEFA).

“The new headquarters occupies 20,000 square metres of space. The administration office consists of six floors comprising 250 offices. There is a special wing for the Governing Board, in addition to several service facilities such as training, conference and meeting halls, health club, prayer room, cafeteria and so on,” he explained.

“The shift to the new headquarters is part of Emirates ID’s forward march and its consistent efforts at improving the quality of its operations and services offered to the customers. The new headquarters is entirely built in tune with the concept of green buildings. It is designed to reduce the carbon footprint drastically. The sustainability standards implemented in the building are totally consistent with the UAE Vision 2021 in this regard,” Al Mesmari said.

The new headquarters, located on Street No.12 in the south western region of Khalifa City near the Al Forsan Resort has ample parking space for employees and visitors.
