The Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) will host its first UAE Public Policy Forum to discuss current challenges and future that lies ahead of education system in UAE.
The forum, which will take place on March 12-13 at Dubai World Trade Center, will host scientific discussions among ministerial level officials, regulators, education providers and students to support UAE decision-makers in formulating policies to meet goals of UAE National Agenda 2021.
Representatives from the Ministry of Education, Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and Abu Dhabi Education Council will join the discussion.
His Excellency Dr. Ali Sebaa Al Marri, CEO of MBRSG, said discussions, which will be based on leading academic research, data and statistics, will address the future direction of education policies and touch on a number of key issues related to the development of the education system.
"The human cadres are the future of every nation, and development starts with developing human cadres," said Dr. Ali Sebaa Al Marri, CEO of MBRSG.
The forum's sessions will present relevant research in six different pillars including public-private partnerships in education, effectiveness of eduction reforms, innovation and technology, and capacity building through education to help bridge the gap between education and employment.
Al Marri noted through four main sessions, four side panels and workshops, the school will look to produce recommendations that would serve the educational scene in the UAE and the wider region.
So far, participation in the forum has amounted to 16 academic papers and case studies and 15 scientific bulletin addresses.
An award consisting of three categories has been announced to encourage participation in the achievement of the Forum's objectives. These categories are: Best Case Study, Best Worksheet, and the Best Bulletin (scientific poster).
