Greetings to Saudi on national day

Shaikh Zayed also sent a cable of greetings to President Amadou Toumani Toure of the Republic of Mali on his country’s independence day.

His Highness Shaikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, sent similar cables to the Saudi Monarch and the leader of Mali.

Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the emirates sent separately cables of greetings to the Custodian of Two Holy Shrines, King Fahd bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, on his country’s national day.

The cables were sent by: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, His Highness Shaikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, His Highness Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah, His Highness Shaikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mualla, Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, and His Highness Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Ruler of Ajman.

Similar cables were sent to the Saudi Monarch by the Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of the emirates.

Meanwhile, Shaikh Zayed, Shaikh Maktoum and Shaikh Khalifa have sent separate cables of condolences to King Fahd bin Abdulaziz on the death of Prince Salman bin Khalid bin Abdulaziz.

Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of emirates, Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Shaikh Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah, Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Shaikh Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mualla of Umm Al Quwain and Shaikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, also sent cables of condolences to King Fahd on the death of Prince Salman.

The crown princes of the emirates sent similar cables to King Fahd.
