ITS bags top travel agency award

DUBAI — International Travel Services (ITS) bagged the bronze award in the 2nd SkyTeam Travel Agency Awards ceremony held at the Sheraton Dubai Creek Hotel and Towers in Dubai on Tuesday.

Binu Justus, Travel Manager at ITS, received the award from Joanne Mitchell, Sales Manager, Gulf States and Pakistan, Alitalia in the presence of managers of the respective sales teams of other SkyTeam members.

The SkyTeam gold awards for outstanding achievement were presented to Airlink, Dnata, Orient Travel and Touring Agency and SNTTA. The recipients of the SkyTeam silver awards for excellent achievement were Sharaf Travel, Kanoo Travel, Al Rais Travel and Al Naboodah Travel. Apart from ITS, the other Skyteam silver award recipients included The Travel Market, Al Futtaim Travel and Al Tayer Travel Agency.

The travel agency awards were presented senior management of the leading travel agents of Dubai, Sharjah and the Northern Emirates for their combined sales contribution to the SkyTeam airlines which include Aeromexico, Air France, Alitalia, Continental Airlines, CSA Czech Airlines, Delta Airlines, Korean Air, KLM and Northwest.

Through one of the world's most extensive hub network, SkyTeam offers its 341 million annual passengers approximately 14,320 daily flights covering 658 destinations serving 137 countries with a fleet of 3,199 aircraft.

SkyTeam offers customers the ability to gain and redeem miles on any SkyTeam carrier, regardless of destination. These awards include travel on all North Atlantic flights including travel from SkyTeam hubs Atlanta Hartsfield, New York JFK, Detroit, Houston, Cleveland, Memphis, Minneapolis/St.Paul and Cincinnati International to Paris CDG, Milan Malpensa, Rome-Fiumicino, Amsterdam Schiphol and Prague Ruzyne.
