Two women, a British former dancer and a Brazilian model, with whom he is accused of having sex out of the wedlock received one month and two-month jail terms respectively for charges of illicit sex and threat.

The model, 25, was also fined Dh1,000 for consuming liquor.

The trio, who became known as the love triangle by some local and international media, was arrested on December 12, last year, after the banker called the police.

The model, his former girlfriend, allegedly surprised him by going to his apartment in Marina while he was in bed with his new girlfriend, the former dancer. The model threatened him using a kitchen knife.

The dancer, 31, who works for a real estate company locked herself up in the bathroom to get away from the model as she went crazy with the knife.

They had been bailed out after spending about six weeks in provisional detention when guarantors handed over their passports.

Earlier, all the three pleaded not guilty to illicit sex charge. The model also pleaded not guilty to a threat charge. She however admitted to having consumed liquor.
