Mauritania team briefed on identity card and electronic gate systems

The Mauritanian team was headed by Hamoud weld Abdullah weld Abbo, manager of the state secretary court for civil affairs. He was accompanied by Gedo weld Abdulrahman.

The meeting discussed the UAE experience in the field of registration of population and identity cards and the utilisation of the eye scan and electronic gate systems being applied in the country. The meeting was also attended by the Mauritanian Ambassador Muhammad Al Mukhtar weld Yahia.

The delegation was briefed on the electronic records of the statistical information about UAE nationals.

Later, a souvenir was presented to the head of the delegation from the GNRD.
