West Coast Customs, customisation experts famous for the MTV show Pimp My Ride, are launching in grand style in Dubai with a concert tonight with some of the hottest RnB stars, including Grammy nominee Omarion, Marques Houston, Lloyd and Blackstreet.

West Coast will customise a car live on stage from midday with star of the MTV show Pimp My Ride, Big Dane, making a special guest appearance throughout the show. The concert will follow at 7pm.

West Coast Customs were recently signed by Al Ghussein Global Investments to a 20-year Middle East and North Africa exclusive master franchise agreement.

The new West Coast Customs Middle East Centre will be the first outside the US and will be opened this week.

Big Dane also hinted at a Press conference yesterday that there could be a West Coast Customs rally to follow, saying they were already discussing the possibility.

“The show is designed to highlight and demonstrate what it is that West Coast Customs does best,” commented Rami El Malak, managing partner of WCC ME.

“While ‘Pimp My Ride’ was a great success and has become somewhat of a global phenomenon, we wanted to show the fans and the public that fixing up old cars is not the only thing we do. Unique, custom and exceptionally high-quality individualisation of cars, yachts and homes, is the biggest aspect of West Coast Customs’ work.”

The Discovery Channel has also begun filming a reality show based on West Coast Customs, called Street Customs.
