One injured as car hits electric pole

DUBAI — One person was injured when his car rammed into an electric pole on the Emirates Road yesterday, police said.

The victim was taken to hospital where his condition is said to be stable. “The incident was not a very serious one. It seems that he lost control and dashed against the electric poll damaging the car,” they added.
