Pakistani construction worker dies after falling from fifth floor in Sharjah

The incident took place in the Abu Dang area, located near Sharjah Mega Mall.

According to police sources, the worker died on the spot due to the impact of the fall.

Eye witnesses stated that he slipped and fell off the building while carrying construction material.

Police sources stated that his coworkers informed the police about the accident.

Forensic experts and the police are investigating into the matter. A source from the civil defense stated that they are trying to ensure if the contracting company he worked for is complying to the prescribed safety measures.
