Met officials in Abu Dhabi have warned the public from sea clubbing on Tuesday due to rough weather conditions, as the height of waves reached six feet on Monday.
According to National Centre for Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), it is expected that the height of waves will increase during the coming hours, especially in Zirku and Arzanah islands in the UAE.
In the Capital, weather remained partly cloudy on Monday and would continue the same for the coming days.
Strong winds kicked up dust in different parts of the country and reduced the horizontal visibility level significantly.
The strong north-westerly (shamal) wind on Monday afternoon was blowing at the speed of 35 knots over the sea and 15-20 knots over open lands, which is expected to blow at the same today.
The centre forecast that sea offshore will be very rough today with a wave height of 9-11 feet, which could reach up to 13 feet.
Fishermen and beachgoers are advised to stay away from the seas at least till Wednesday. Due to the low visibility over the open lands, motorists are also urged to drive slow, the centre said.

The maximum temperature is expected to be at 28 degree Celsius on Tuesday and minimum 18, while maximum humidity is expected to be 85 per cent and minimum 25 per cent.
