With the US and UAE sharing a high-value trade relationship, the UAE has become the US's largest export market in the Middle East.
In 2018, total trade between the two countries totaled $24.6 billion, with the US exporting $19.5 billion to the United Arab Emirates, and the resulting US goods trade surplus with the UAE was 14.5 billion.
Today, AmCham Dubai actively advocates for US business with government officials from both the US and UAE on a local and international level. In providing a platform for knowledge-sharing exchanges, AmCham Dubai facilitates policy dialogue on all levels.
The organisation encourages all businesses and professionals with an affiliation to US to join in and help shape the future of the dynamic US-UAE economic growth and individual commercial prosperity.
The Council's membership is comprised of American Fortune 500 companies, SMEs, UAE organisations, individuals across all sectors of business and industry and includes Americans and Emirati.
All are accepted after review of eligibility based upon membership qualification criteria defined in the AmCham constitution and by-laws.
AmCham Dubai organises events in partnership with key public and private stakeholders from the US, the local region as well as internationally.
Their goal is to strengthen commercial ties between the US and the UAE, and offer exceptional value and support services to its members. #BePartOfIt
