DUBAI — Preparations for the seventh international summit on coastal and port engineering in developing countries (COPEDEC) being held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dubai Festival City from February 24 to 28 have been completed, Essa Al Maidour, Assistant Director-General of Dubai Municipality for General Projects Affairs, said recently.
The conference will bring together over 1,000 marine engineers and scientists from around the world who would exchange their knowhow and experience. Al Maidour said the conference came at a significant time as the Arabian Gulf region was witnessing $100 billion investments in waterfront developments.
