Trakhees Launches its Website

DUBAI — The Department of Planning and Development — Trakhees, the regulatory arm of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation in Dubai, announced the launch of its official website www.Trakhees.ae in both Arabic and English.

Engineer Nazek Al Sabbagh, Managing Director -Trakhees, launched the new website which aims at reinforcing the channels of communication and cooperation with the various segments of society to raise public awareness of the Department’s mission and core values, as well as highlighting the role played by the Department in planning and developing Dubai World’s projects.

“We have launched the website in both Arabic and English, and made sure that it is designed according to the best international technical standards, reflecting the Department’s vision of improving the quality of services provided to customers and of keeping all media and all concerned parties properly informed about the latest developments,” said Eng. Nazek.

The website also integrates with the new corporate identity of the Department, and includes a wide spectrum of value-added services, which allow you to easily browse through the various sections of the reports and legislative regulations and information relating to all departments and divisions.

The website also includes a detailed explanation of the organizational structure: Trakhees consists of three major divisions, namely, Civil Engineering Division, Environment, Health and Safety Division and Commercial Licensing Division, each providing integrated services for clients within the communities developed by Dubai World business units such as Nakheel, Limitless, Ishthitmar.

Civil Engineering Division assumes the responsibilities of auditing and technical supervision of projects and modifications introduced to all finalized buildings to ensure the quality of the projects implemented. EHS Division is concerned with the organization and execution of rules and regulations pertaining to all environment, health and safety-related aspects and fire prevention, while the Commercial Licensing Division issues licenses and governmental services under federal laws in the United Arab Emirates and the Free Zone Law.
