Musical maestro Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan returns to the UAE for one night as part of his world tour, The Tribute Tour 2017, at Dubai World Trade Centre on Friday, December 15.
2017 marks the 20th year since the death of Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Regarded as one of the greatest singers in the genre of Qawali, Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan brought Qawali to the international stage. Globally renowned, he collaborated with and influenced numerous musicians and brought the magic of Qawali to life in Hollywood and Bollywood. His nephew, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, is proof that his legacy continues.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan says: "This is a very special year for our family and we have produced a unique tribute concert to the great Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. We are currently on tour in Australia and take the show to the UK and Europe next month. I am looking forward to a grand finale of the tour in Dubai on December 15. Dubai is one of my favourite cities in the world and I have enjoyed performing there for many years. I am looking forward to seeing all my fans once again to share the wonderful experience of The Tribute Tour 2017."

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has captured the hearts of millions worldwide and continues to mesmerise live audiences with his melodious voice and Sufi music. His collection of award winning Bollywood hits has delighted millions of fans across the globe with songs such as 'Teri Meri' (Bodyguard), 'O Re Piya' (AajaNachle), 'Tere Mast Mast Do Nain' (Dabangg) and 2016's 'Jag Ghoomeya' (Sultan) becoming timeless classics in recent years.

In addition, Rahat's solo hits such as 'Zaroori Tha' and 2016's stunning Coke Studio rendition of 'Afreen Afreen' have been stand out successes globally, cementing his position as one of South Asia's most iconic entertainers.

Rahat fans can look forward to an electrifying 4-hour performance at the Dubai World Trade Centre on December 15, where he will rock the stage with his greatest Bollywood hits and a very special tribute to his mentor, the great Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
