A truck overturned and settled on its left side above Al Nuamiya bridge on Ittihad road in Ajman on Thursday morning.
The accident caused congestion, with civil defense units and police cars rushing to the scene. The police then diverted motorists to other directions to ensure the flow of traffic.
The accident happened around 5am.
The one-way bridge was blocked for almost three hours.
