DUBAI — The Anti-Narcotic Department of Dubai Police has arrested an Arab woman who live in Al Warqaa area in the emirate for allegedly possessing and using drugs. The police put her flat under surveillance after a tipoff about her activities, sources said.
Around 10am on March v26, the woman came down from her flat carrying a black bag. As she emerged from the elevator, cops intercepted her, showing their identity cards. On searching her bag, 1,501 strips of Tramadol pills and 10 Tramadol tablets were found. The police also found seven Tramadol pills in her car.
She has been referred to the Dubai Public Prosecution accused of possessing a banned substance and violating the federal law pertaining combating drugs.
