Air India will be introducing non-stop flights everyday from Dubai to Kochi and a return from Kochi to Dubai, effective from January 11, 2016.
The announcement fulfils a long standing demand of UAE passengers, said Melwin D'Silva, regional manager - Gulf, Middle East and Africas. Flight AI934 on the Dubai-Kochi sector will depart from Dubai at 13:30hrs and arrive in Kochi at 19:10hrs local time. On the return leg, AI933 will depart from Kochi to Dubai at 09:35hrs and arrive in Dubai at 12:35hrs local time.
Air India will be operating the Dubai-Kochi sector with a brand new A320 aircraft, with a cap of 180 seats and is offering an introductory promotional fare of Dh330 one way and Dh785 return with 30kg free baggage allowance. Further, passengers can now check-in directly for Air India flights and book a seat of their choice from the comfort of their homes/offices prior to 24hours of departure of flight by visiting the Air India website.
With this, the flight operating the Sharjah-Kochi-Sharjah sector would stand withdrawn, effective January 11, 2016. All passengers booked on this sector are requested to contact their travel agency or Air India offices for a free of cost change in bookings.
