Givenchy Paris launches new fragrance in Dubai

DUBAI -In a bid to repeat the success of its perfume Organza, Givenchy Paris in cooperation with Grand Stores has launched a new feminine fragrance Very Irresistible Givenchy in the Middle East market.

According to Isabelle Gex, vice-president global marketing Givenchy, it took the company 18 months to create the new perfume, which combines Organza's sharp scent with mild floral notes of five different types of roses. Gex said that the company expected that the new perfume would do even better than Organza, which was launched in the region seven years ago.

According to Francois Janin, international commercial director Givenchy, the company's turnover in the Gulf region last year stood at Dh100 million, of which the UAE's share is Dh20 million.

The retail price for the new perfume in the Middle East region would not differ from the European prices. As 50ml of the Very Irresistible Givenchy will be priced at Dh195, while 75ml will be retailed at Dh245.
