Established on October 23, 1945, the company has won a number of accolades and has been at the forefront of innovation, which has endured to be the lifeblood of the company. Its factories are spread around the globe, including the UK, India, China and Brazil.
JCB has been awarded a number of prestigious contracts in 2020, including supplying specialised high-speed backhoe loaders to the US military, reflecting the confidence and trust in the quality of JCB products.
In March 2020, the company achieved a milestone with the production of its 750,000th backhoe loader, before the Covid-19 pandemic took hold. This did not stop JCB from making a difference: As its production lines fell silent, it turned its attention to helping those in need during that unprecedented time.
Mohamed Yahya Kazi Meeran, Director and Group CEO of Galadari Brothers, said Galadari Brothers and JCB have enjoyed a very cordial and mutually beneficial relationship for 36 years.
“We are very proud of our longstanding partnership with JCB, which is leading the way in clean technology and reducing harmful emissions, especially in urban, air quality-sensitive environments and enclosed spaces. Both Galadari Brothers and JCB are highly-trusted family businesses and this partnership will witness more milestones in our future journey. I would like to congratulate JCB on its 75th anniversary and wish them great success ahead.”
Mazen Abdul Baki, General Manager of GB Equipment Solutions, also congratulated JCB on completing its 75 successful years and commended the longstanding relationship between the two groups.
“Our relationship with JCB has been highly productive over the years. The UAE market has strong trust in JCB and its products, hence our partnership has been flourishing since 1984,” said Baki.
GB Equipment Solutions, a part of Galadari Brothers Group, is the authorised dealer of JCB in the UAE.
