He once sang, 'Everything I do, I do it for you.' Well, Canadian superstar Bryan Adams must have been listening to our wishes, because he is on his way to Dubai in the next few months for the first time since 2010.
Come March 9 next year, Adams will be taking to the Autism Rocks Arena stage to spread his unique brand of rock and ballads to a no-doubt enthusiastic crowd. Will it be the Summer of '69 all over again? If this gravelly-voiced Ontarian has anything to do with it, it will!
Organiser, 117Live CEO Thomas Ovesen told us: "It might sound cliché but as long as he plays Summer of '69 there will be an audience. It's not rocket science. It has been a while since he has been to Dubai and we and his fans want him back."
Ovesen predicts a more mature audience who are perhaps not usually catered for will be looking forward to the show, but the artist's enduring appeal is that he continues to reinvent himself for younger fans.
"Bryan's voice is not worn out but it is actually getting stronger and more poignant," Ovesen said.
"He's the creator of some of the best ever rock anthems.he will bring back memories with classics like Cuts Like A Knife, Heaven and (Everything I Do) I Do It For You in addition to songs from his new release. On March 9, I know I will be joined by thousands taking in this incredible concert."
