THE RANI Mukherji-Aditya Chopra love saga is as good as an open secret. And media reports about their impending marriage along with confirmation from various anonymous Yash Raj sources have made the entire affair too glaring to be invisible.
However, Rani's family seems to have decided to draw a blanket in front of their eyes, or so it seems as they denied any link-ups between the two yet again.
Talking about rumours of marriage, Rani's brother Raja Mukherji says, 'It's all false. Media comes up with a guest list and a place of marriage and then my wife comes to me to ask how come we haven't invited her.'
Rani's father Ram Mukherji too asked the media not to spread baseless allegations, especially about Aditya's break-up with his wife. 'It's very bad to talk about such things which can upset families. You should not do it,' he said. 'She (Rani) is working right now and I think it's best to let her concentrate on her career. I will be more than happy if she finds a match for herself,' he added while denying that Rani has any relationship with Aditya Chopra. When asked how he likes Aditya as a person he replied, 'It's not the question of my liking him. I like Yash Chopra also as he has been such a good friend. But it's about her marriage, which I think is best left to her. Why are you so interested in knowing about it!' Ram Mukherji also accused the media of linking up his daughter with anyone she works with. 'You have linked her with Govinda, Abhishek and now Aditya. That seems to be your favourite pastime.' he laughed away.
In the meantime, our sources are laughing away too. May be Mukherji family likes to live in denial.
