The Dh50 Laser-based DPI testing facility for people wanting to enter Abu Dhabi has been expanded, to more screening centres, across the UAE.

From Saturday, August 22, people can take the rapid Covid-19 test at three locations in Abu Dhabi - Zayed Sports City, Corniche (Saturday to Thursday from 8:00am to 8:00pm) and Laser Screening Centre in Ghantoot (24X7), Al Ain - Al Hili Wedding Hall (seven days a week from 10 am to 10 pm) and Al Hili, Dubai - Mina Rashed and Al Khawaneej and across the northern emirates - Sharjah Golf and Shooting Club, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah (all seven days a week from 10 am to 8 pm), and Emirates Hospitality Centre in Ajman (24X7).
This decision is following the directions from the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee for Covid-19 Pandemic, and in coordination with the Department of Health - Abu Dhabi.
Booking appointment
For locations operated by Ambulatory Healthcare Services (SEHA), appointments can be made through the SEHA app.
For locations operated by Tamouh Healthcare, book an appointment via the website for: Ghantoot, Al Hili Wedding Hall or Ajman.
Process explained
When visiting the screening center, a small blood sample will be taken and then tested using the laser-based DPI with results appearing in minutes. If the test result shows that a nose swab is required, it will be done right away and the person will need to isolate himself until the result is out. If the test result shows that no swab is needed, he/she will receive an SMS that will enable him/her to enter Abu Dhabi within 48 hours from the test result.
