Dubai - Over 32.6 million tests have been conducted in the UAE.
The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention on Wednesday reported 2,204 cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,693 recoveries and 8 deaths.
The new cases were detected through 242,026 additional tests.

Over 32.6 million tests have been conducted across the UAE to date as part of the country's massive screening programmes to combat the spread of Covid-19.
The total number of cases in UAE as on March 10 are 417,909 while total recoveries stand at 398,126. The death toll rises to 1,353
China has launched a health certificate programme for Chinese international travellers, leading the world in plans for so-called virus passports.
The digital certificate, which shows a user's vaccination status and virus test results, is being rolled out "to help promote world economic recovery and facilitate cross-border travel", a foreign ministry spokesman said. Also available in paper form, is thought to be the world's first known "virus passport".
Israel has lifted the ban on entry of foreign nationals into the country, according to a statement issued by the Population and Immigration Authority.
In a statement on Monday, the Authority said priority will be given to the entry of Israelis over the next two weeks, ahead of the general elections scheduled on March 23.
Meanwhile, a new, free, rapid PCR Covid testing procedure has been launched at the Abu Dhabi International Airport. The region's first in-airport laboratory gives results in approximately 90 minutes, the Government of Abu Dhabi Media Office said on Tuesday.
