UAE sterilisation programme in industrial areas to begin at 6pm

The National Sterilisation Programme in industrial areas and worker accommodations in the UAE will happen from 6pm to 6am starting today (Wednesday, May 20).

In a joint statement, the Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation urged those residing in these areas to not step out unless for emergencies during these hours.

Meanwhile, starting today, the sterilisation in all other areas will be done from 8pm to 6am. Mall timings have also been revised, with shopping centres operating from 9am to 7pm from today.
