Coronavirus: Oman reports 1,557 new Covid-19 cases

Dubai - With this, a total of 47,735 cases have been reported in the Sultanate, along with 29,146 recoveries.

The Oman health ministry on Monday reported 1,557 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 1,229 recoveries.

Among the new cases, 1,057 were Omanis while 500 were non-Omanis, the ministry said.

With this, a total of 47,735 cases have been reported in the Sultanate, along with 29,146 recoveries.

Five new deaths were also reported, taking the total to 218.

As many as 3,852 new Covid-19 tests have been carried out in the Sultanate, taking the total to 213,187, the ministry said.
