Dubai - Air India Express said travellers to Dubai and Sharjah still need an ICA or GDRFA approval.
All passengers must have a negative Covid-19 PCR test result from an approved facility. The test must have been taken within 96 hours of travel, the airline said.
As Khaleej Times reported on Monday, Pakistan International Airlines and Airblue said they have started taking bookings from Pakistani passengers who don't have an ICA approval for travelling to Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.
Air India Express said travellers to Dubai and Sharjah still need an ICA or General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA) approval.
However, an Indian diplomat had on Monday told Khaleej Times they were "given to understand" that residents don't need approval from the ICA or the GDRFA to travel to the UAE.
