Zaidi and Farooqui excel as Sunrise beat Hyder

ABU DHABI — Tahsin Zaidi and Tariq Farooqui feasted on a hapless Hyder bowling attack, both hitting big centuries, to lead Sunrise General Maintenance Company to a massive 179-run win in the ADCC Twenty20 Summer League.

Zaidi hammered 151 not out and Farooqui 150 as the two shared a 309-run stand for the second wicket after the opener Zubair Mir (0) fell when the score was three.

Nasir Siddiqui took five for 12 as United Bank Limited dismissed Golden Real Estate for a paltry 53 and they knocked off the winning runs in just 3.3 overs for one wicket.

Nadeem Mushtaq was the other to return with a five-wicket haul as Abu Dhabi Gentlemen defeated Pak Nemat Kadaha by five wickets.
