Al Qasimiya Hospital in Sharjah
Sharjah - Police received a call about a mysterious bag believed to contain a bomb.

Panic gripped the patients and visitors at Al Qasimi hospital following a call about the existence of a mysterious case at the entrance of the hospital. The police evacuated the parking area around the hospital and blocked the entrance and exit of the emergency room.
Police said that they received call at the operating room yesterday, warning that an alleged bomb case had been placed at the entrance of the hospital. Several teams from the police department, including explosion, patrols, CID, ambulance, civil defense, and firefighters, arrived at the site and thoroughly combed the area for explosive devices. Sharjah Police then declared there is no any kind of bomb. The case contained only clothes and and other personal effects of an unknown person who has unconsciously forgotten his/her belongings.
Amina Osman who was trying to enter the emergency room and prevented by police said " I was shocked to see the large number of police vehicles in the entrance of the hospital. I was so scared and then I was told that the police is searching for a bomb following a call that was later found to be hoax.
Ismail Al Shamsi, said he dropped his mother off at the emergency room as she was suffering from flu with high fever, after parking his car, he was shocked to see the number of emergency vehicles.
He got worried about his mother inside as he was prevented by rescue teams from entering the hospital for safety reasons. He then came to know of the false bomb alarm
