“Officials from the Criminal Investigation Department rushed to the house to investigate the case and to check if there was any foul play,” the police official said.

The bodies were taken to the forensic laboratory of the Sharjah police to ascertain the cause of death. Preliminary investigations revealed that the death was caused by poisoning by gas which was purportedly emitted from the car when the engine was running. The air conditioning was also working and the option to circulate from the outside was switched on, initial reports said.
